Becoming a therapist is more than just a job, it is a way of being-in-the-world and being-with-others. What does it relationally mean to be a therapist? How does becoming a therapist change oneself as a person? Becoming a therapist can bring to existential angst of connection and isolation to the forefront. We welcome students and professionals to join, explore, and share the topic and experience of becoming a therapist and what that means for each of us. We welcome professionals and students with all levels of knowledge and experience. The salon will be facilitated by board member Justin Rock, LPC on 11/19/22 10am-12pm via Zoom.

Bio:

Justin Rock, LPC, is an Existential-Humanistic psychotherapist. He currently supervises, teaches students at Lewis & Clark College graduate school, and provides therapy for clients. Justin is continuing to engage in the tension of becoming a therapist in the world and what that means each day.
